Just handsome and just wealthy enough to run with society in Rathgar, Paolo often finds himself short of coin and need of a source of income. Shut out of the family business by his conservative father, he hopes to some day elevate his family's status to one of the true city elite.

Young Rathgaran Aristocrat

Unlike his father, Marco has great dreams for the Wright Family. He believes that the y should aggressively pursue power in the city, even if it means taking risks to do so. He'll point to his fathers own past, complaining that the "old man" has gone "scared". Despite these desires - or perhaps because of them - Marco largely shuts his son out of the family sawmill business, leaving the younger Wright with little on his hands but idle time.

 

Paolo elects to use that time as any young man with too many coins and not enough to do might - hedonistically. He dresses in the latest fashions and carouses at the most elegant establishments. If there is a society event, one is sure to find him, arm in arm with some young damsel, glass of wine in hand. In his first years about the town he racked up quite the debt which his father quietly paid. Since then, Marco has let it be know around town that his son is not to be extended credit and forces him to subsist on the strict allowance. Ever a bright lad, Paolo has come up with a number of clever schemes to supplement his income, most of which are legal. A few, however, lean on the Azermathian Alliance and would cost his father the rest of his hair if he knew about them.

 

In recent months Paola has played host to Florence Kandar, wife to the almost-famous explorer, Cedric Kandar while she is stranded in Rathgar. Rumors abound that he has, perhaps fallen for the young woman and even offered her his hand - should she tire of her wayward husband of course. The young man has done nothing to confirm or dissuade these rumors.
