Akiko
A white haired peasant girl whom Akira met. She seems to be a travelling herbalist/florist selling to the local apothecaries in the settlements she visits. She seems to be connected to Jugen, or is home village at least. -
Inja
A mysterious hermit who met Lord Hitoshi before he turned into an Oni. He seems to have taught Lord Hitoshi some sort of magic. Is Inja related to Lord Hitoshi's corruption? -
Lord Kisei no Jiro
The third child of Lord Kisei no Goro, and younger sibling of Lady Kisei. Due to the death of former Jito, Lord Yamamura, and with no heirs, Lord Jiro was made the jito of Otorii Mutsu. -
Lady Kisei no Jun
Eldest child of the great Kisei no Gorou, Kisei no Jun is strong-willed young woman who puts her duty of commanding the forces of Otorii above all else. She is a straight laced, courageous, and determined Onikiri who has no empathy for Oni and the denizens of Kuramoto. She resembles her father almost uncannily, however she is not as stubborn as he is. -
Lord Kisei no Goro
Commander and chief of the Monban army, head of the Kisei Clan, and the Morigani Tandai, Kisei no Goro is a distinguished and respected samurai. Like most morigani samurai, Lord Kisei is pragmatic and straight to the point, as his duty to protect Hinomoto from the Shadowlands requires him to be so. He is also the father of Lady Kisei. -
Kitagawa Akane
Kitagawa Akane is the first, and currently only, Haakuma to become an Onikiri. Her family was originally Deki, but were the first to be welcomed back into Hinomoto. At around 6'5", she towers even other Haakuma, and with her ferocity and seemingly unbridled strength, she has been branded the Raging Ogress. -
Nonaka Kunio
A retired Monban veteran who was given a large plot of farmland in Iwasaki farmstead for his honor and valor while serving the Monban Army. While not a morigani clansman, he has the personality of one, coming off as grumpy and short tempered. Underneath all this is a caring man, who looks out for the little guys. -
Rue Audley
Quirky, nerdy, and sometimes eccentric, Rue Audley is a scholar from Eutopus looking to research supernatural phenomena in Hinomoto. She's an guild member of the Archivists Collective and has been in Hinomoto for a year now. She seems to be steadfast in forwarding her guilds purpose, but really she has an insatiable lust for learning. -
Seno Yori
A farmer from Iwasaki farmstead forced to fight for Iwasaki's safety. Due to the current situation, Seno is in a constant state of nervousness and anxiety. He seems good natured though. -
Lord Yamamura no Noboru
The stoic Jito of Otorii Mutsu. Not one to mince words, he expects the party to meet his standards and those set on them by others, no matter how absurd those standards might be.
