S40 - Midwinter Festival Report

General Summary

Kitagawa takes Seno to sober up somewhere else. Jiko converses with who he has found out to be named Morikuni Kuji. They talk about things for a while. They then decide to close shop and go enjoy the festival. Jiko introduces the party to Kuji albeit from afar. Kuji shares a bit more backstory from Jugen, specifically the voices in his head. They continue to observe and share stories with each other.
Bana makes her way to the onsen and falls in line. There, she meets Inja and they talk in the onsen for a while.
  Back at the festival grounds, Akira, Yamami, and Mizuki talk to Ryoma and Tatsuo. Rue and Jugen talk about the first group from a distance, with Rue visibly getting hot and bothered. In the distance, Jugen spots Jiko with a familiar face and asks Rue if he can approach them. From the onsen, Bana and Inja appear and approach the group of five in the Takoyaki stall. Yamami introduces Ryoma and Tatsuo to Inja and Bana. Mizuki and Rue go off on their own and they talk about Mizuki’s frustrations.

A little while later, Akira bumps into Jiko, Kuji, and Jugen. Kyo also sees them and approaches. The five of them talk for a while and eventually decide to join the rest of the party. Party decides to talk for a little while longer until Jiko says it’s getting quite late.

Back at the castle, everyone meets up and meets Lady Kisei. Bana and Mizuki look distraught. The party decides to go to the onsen before it closes down.
