Unlikely Characters Report

General Summary

After being surprised by the latest of Bali’s minions the heroes must fight off 2 unusual ghasts. Although unable to cast many spells Thomas Marchant is able to create a hypnotic pattern that was crucial in allowing the party to isolate each creature and pick them off one by one. Bali, undaunted, woke Badalona Ailendogs from sleep to inform him that Bali has inveigled himself into the good graces of Baron Falkrunn Rumnaheim in Allgringthveit. More than that he has informed her that the Five Fingers are assassins coming to kill her. So there are troops out searching for the 4 of them (Thomas’ amulet rendering him invisible to detection). After sleeping on this knowledge the heroes press on through the Falcon Hills towards Allgringthveit. Less than a day out the heroes encounter a dwarven patrol and while Alok Ravaralei hides in a vantage spot the rest of the party disguise themselves as an advance party for Alexander Face’s Travelling Circus & Menagerie. Now disguised they are being escorted towards the dwarven town by guards anxious to protect them from the “assassins” waiting to kill the Baron.
