Darknook’s apothecary and sometime adventurer

Most of his life has been spent in movement and shadow.
 
Years ago, fearing the worst, his family fled from the cities of another land. Many towns and many villages saw them visit until one day his father was lost to an escape attempt from a small village that was attacked by witch hunters in the night and then his mother never returned from getting some food.
 
Alone, he fled deep into the forest, and found sanctuary.
 
There he lived on his own skills in the shadows, relying on the safety of nature until he met some old druids practicing their craft in his forest. Intrigued and eager, he started his studies at their side. Mehmen spent years learning the rhythm of nature and avoiding most people until he found Darknook, where the naturally reserved population suited him... he's never decided to stay but he has also not left yet.
 
 
Here in Darknook he sells very effective "remedies" to the locals from his Apothecary storefront, and hard liquor and ales from the back door for extra cash to a select and discreet few... but this life is slow so when an adventurer or adventure come his way he is only too happy to let his apprentice, Talen, take over for a few days, while he goes off to "forage" for ingredients.
