An enigmatic barbarian

Badalona grew up at a small inn called 
Laughs Last (just at the east end of The Hedge Road out of Hoofalls). His main job was looking after the ale and hogs. He got pretty good at brewing the ale too and developed a strong bond with his hogs.

 

"Anyway, this... dumb thing happened, and Mum and Dad kicked me out. Well, they didn't kick me out, but they sent me off to Windmontley Hold, to board and work for Gripi at The Rooster & Whale. It was perfectly nice, but I got a lot of stick from the Dwarfs for my long arms. I've had a lot of time to think about it, and I don't really want to do Inn work forever."

 
After honing his skills and working hard for a long time, a message came from home - his Dad had died. Badalona returned to take over the family business, but couldn't face doing inn work forever, so returned to Darknook where he had found a team of adventurers who's exploits were far more exciting.
