Right now image folders are not sortable in a way the uploaders can control.
It would be nice if the image folder had the same sorting option as a category of articles(alphabet), other possible sorts are size, date, but I'd be happy with just alphabetical.
I don't see other uses this is just a quality of life improvement for people with lots of images, especially since folders are not hierarchical for images.
