This can be combined with the Recipe Article Template (vote for it here)
But as far as I have attempted making the cuisine of a culture or region, I've always ended up resorting to forcing something into the Organisation/Ethnicity templates (PLEASE VOTE FORTHIS FEATURE)

Best to merge it with the proposed Recipe Article Template, rather than be a template on its own. Or maybe have a field or more added to the Ethnicity and Organization templates.   I don't think this needs to be its own template.

As someone who writes a LOT about food in my world I would find this highly useful. Frankly I'm just fascinated by food and how much it reflects social status, wealth, climate, technology, and even transportation as much as it speaks about the cultural history where it came from. As for the negative votes saying that this can already be done in other ways, I'm sure that's true but for me those ways are just not intuitive.

This would be really fun to have in the editor. Especially if there is some significant about the dish/cuisine

As someone who enjoys describing various dishes a bit too much for Dungeons & Dragons sessions, I can see how this template would be quite useful. Though if it were to be implemented I'd hope for it to be compatible with candies and other sweets.

Cuisine would be a tradition or apart of an ethnicity. Individual dishes would be items. Recipies would be documents. Ethnicities are not 'races' but more like regional cultures (Ie: Southern US, Cajin, Yankee, New Yorker, Beach Bums, etc).

This can be done with a tradition or item template, and simply changing some of the headers. However perhaps new prompts within those articles could be useful.

This would be really cool. You could also combine it with prose to have functional recipes

A cuisine is perfectly covered with both an item template (for the actual dish) or a traditon template (for the process of cooking it)
Have you considered that the template fields are merely suggestions and not needed to be used all and exactly this way? As a result, templates are meant to covere many possible things.
Add to this the fact that higher tiers of the guild can create the own custom article templates derived from existing ones and this request is superflous.

Have you considered using custom headers and such in the Tradition template like the others have suggested?

Adding more templates should be a last resort. Maybe expand the tradition template with more specific prompts?

A Cuisine is a food tradition which already has an article type.
