+1 for Michael Chandra's suggestion about linking our calendar definitions to the Chronicle timeline, and then being able to use that to define the Chronicle period.
Really needed for character's life duration sided campaigns ! For my pedragon campaign, about 1 year per session, month granularity would be absolutely perfect.
Yes!! I'm trying to make a timeline that spans about seven years. Days gives me huge blocks of empty time, while years squishes it all into a tiny bit of the page, even when I set it to only display ten years
This would bring so much help to those wanting to put a group of events in order via a month or week, such as in one-shots or episodic campaigns or for those writing novels, like me.
Yes, I understand since we define what a month is ourselves that might be difficult to implement, but weeks would be great.
Increasing increments such as going from Day to Week, Week to Month, Month to Year, etc. would be a good idea .
In the promotional video on youtube, "weeks" are mentioned as option.
Since we can define our Calendars, connecting those weeks/months to Chronicles would be a nice way to allow people to add their own week/month scales.
I definitely think we should have both weeks and months
I think months would be a great middle ground between days and years. :)
Months would absolutely be the ideal timescale for the way I envision using Chronicles right now.
This is a good idea, but it would probably be hard to implement since not all worlds use the same system of weeks and months.
