Yes. Some way to group maps together and order them so that the thumbnails could be presented rather in the same way that images can be grouped in a galley would be excellent. If, for example, we could link a "map gallery" to the footer of an article in the same way we can link an image gallery it would sometimes be nicer than forcing them into the sidebar.
