Ajan

Ajan is a democracy established by elves located on the western coast of Luro and on Ja Island. Ajan's leader, the Stornu, is voted upon twice every decade, with no limit to how many terms a person can serve. Anyone of any race can serve as Stornu. Despite this, most Stornu have been male elves. Stornu has a population of a few hundred consisting of humans, @elves, @goblins, and a few @atleans – a notably high ratio of Ja Island's population are atleans. Ajans have a respectful relationship with the fey, having a few protected zones for them to live in as well as letting them argue for owning property. Ajan's has no official religion and is located southwest of Svillo and west of @Fiell.
