Moon station

Purpose / Function

The moon station is some kind of school for young minds, at this school the children are learning the basics of science, space engineering and experience the 0 gravity effect for the first time. The children are coming to this station at a young age, there are no adults, so the children need to look after each other. The lessons are received on e-mail.

Architecture

Outside

On the outside, the station is mostly covered in solar panels. The little bits that are not covered are the giant windows. Those are made from super strong plastic that cleans its self. The thick titanium doors are the only gates to go on spacewalks or if there comes a new pod with new students. Or to take students back to Earth.
 

Inside

The inside is made from white looking titanium, and a special kind of transparent plastic. The station is divided in many rooms. There are bunk bedrooms, a cafeteria and various classrooms.  
Bunk bedrooms
There are ten bunk bedrooms, with three beds. In the walls there are cabinets for their clothing and bedding. There is a bathroom bordering these room with a shower and a toilet.  
Cafeteria
In the cafeteria, the children are getting special food that is produced by a special kind of machine. The machine takes their weight and health into account.  
Classrooms
The classrooms are designed for the various lessons, one of the classrooms is made for the zero gravity lessons.

History

The Moon station was build by Zodíaco organization. They made this station to train the next generation of space discoverers. It was build on earth 3960 right after the organization was formed. The station was resembled in space around 3978. They were done, resembling, in the year 3980. Zodíaco sent the first group of children to the station, ten years later. Those children were, Aquria Watermen and the twins Arco Watermen, Frecha Watermen.
