Voidlight, true to its nature, is the absolute absence of things - the concept of void, of oblivion, and as such its one definining characteristic is the NOTHINGNESS which it exudes - no light, no sound, no feeling, nothing.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Voidlight has no properties - it is the absence of all properties, and as such, has no properties as well as nothing inside its radius can have properties either.
It can wash over and mend undead and those healed by negative energy with necromantic and unholy power, as well as harm the living or those tied to life at the same time - though even to those it would heal, too much of it can lead to a second, final death - even to those such as liches and graveknights.
Its "secondary effect" is esoteric - those killed by Voidlight are more likely to be judged a sinner in the afterlife, and are more likely to become a less powerful or noteworthy member of the plane they end up in.

Geology & Geography

Voidlight is found exclusively on the Plane of Negative Energy - it is the true, whole essence of death in its rawest, truest form.

Origin & Source

Voidlight came into being when its creator and owner, Xu-Jie, did - it was born at the same time that the Plane of Negative Energy came into being.

Discovery

Voidlight was discovered first by the mortal followers of The Spirit King of Void and the Elemental Lords of Void when they were deemed to have earned a worthy blessing - but before them, it was discovered by the Spirit King of Void themselves.
