Powerful creatures often lurk in the lands of Rakasha. The Prime Karathigan are no exception. The Scaled Parasites are strong, powerful, and beautiful in some cases. They are ruthless attackers, powerful Arcanists, and their cunning is deadly.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Karathigans usually are on four legs with their front legs acting as hands, when needed or wanted, They have horns, hoods like a cobra, tails, and wings. Descendents of Karathigans, especially the Karathaxin, are born without wings or tails. But they keep the long viperine snout their Prime Karathigan parentage.
Depending on their breed, these features may differ. Interbreeding may cause oddities as well, resulting in cases such as hydraism and albinoism. Other cases have been sighted with Prime Karathigan with extra limbs like tails, wings, and legs.
Prime Karathigans also have the regular five senses as a normal Human, but they are extremely sensitive, another trait the descendants of the Prime Karathigan

Prime Karathigans have different colorations and horn shape and sizes, as well as their "Breathe" type.
Bismuth Karathigan
Bismuth Karathigans are of average intelligence like the other Prime Karathigan. Their coloration is prismatic, showing a rainbow shimmer in the light. But there are Bismuth Karathigans that are only grey in color. Their horns are shaped like cubes and diamonds.
Bismuth Breath
Bismuth Karathigans exhale a poisonous gas that burns when it comes to contact with skin/scales. Only the Bismuth Karathigan are immune to this poisonous gas.
Curor Karathigan
Curor Karathigan have average intelligence as the other Prime Karathigans. Their coloration is shades of red, black, maroon, or a mix of all three. Curor Karathigans have the most horns than the other Karathingan, as well as other bony spikes along their arms, legs, wings, spine, tail, and underbelly.
Curor Karathigans also have clear or opaque scales that show their blood flow.
Life Span
Curor Karathigans live as long as Plasma Karathigan, averaging around 60,000 years. In fact, most Curor Karathigasns don't usually die of old age, but because they are the most hunted breed of Karathigan. This is because their blood is used in several potions as a base and a bonding agent.

Crystallid Karathigan
Crystalid Karathigan are creatures of beauty reflecting their crystaline scales in the pseudo-sunlight. Their coloration depends on the crystal they're made of.
If the Crystalid Karathigan is made of diamond, then they are blue, green, white, and prismatic.
If they are Malachite, then their coloration is orange and black.
If the Crystalid Karathigan is Bloodstone, then their coloration will match that of the Curor Karathigan, except for the exposed blood flow windows.
If the Crystalid Karathigan is made of Petrified Wood, then their scales will resemble the dark, earthy coloration of the wood.

The Crystalid Karathigan usually live around 20,000-25,000 years. But they fall more to earlier deaths because of their precious gemstone scales.

Plasma Karathigan
The Plasma Karathigans are made of pure liquid energy like the Sedera energies, but Plasma Karathigans come in all manner of colors. Their horn structures look like an upside down Greek Omega symbol.

Plasma Karathigans exhale a force of liquid energy, which has been known to melt armor and disenchant magical items when exposed.
Smolder Karathigan
The Smolder Karathigan are one of the biggest Karathigans, averaging around 40 feet in length. The Smolder Karathigan are red, charcoal grey, and orange in coloration. Their horns are sleek and ignited with fire. The Smolder Karathigans have zero patience, they are described as "Hot heads." Their ribs are exposed and ignited with flames.

Smolder Karathigans live slightly longer than average, aging at 15,000 years. They are also the most common Prime Karathigan on Rakasha.
Smolder Breath
Smolder Karathigans exhale one of the prime elements of the Zenyki Incantation, fire. Their breath is hot enough to melt and reshape glass.
Static Karathigan
The Static Karathigan are another one of the largest Karathigans, averaging around 50 feet in length. The Static Karathigans come in a variety of blues, greys, and whites. Static Karathigan horns are bolts of electricity taken in the shape of steps.

The Static Karathigan live longer than the Smolder Karathigan, averaging around 20,000-25,000 years.

Steel Karathigan
The Steel Karathigan has average life span, averaging around 20,000 years. Steel dragons are steel blue, silver, and grey. The Steel Karathigan's wings are blades and their underbellies are rows of shield. The Steel Karathigan are the toughest to penetrate, but it is possible.

The Steel Karathigan exhales the gas that confuses creatures if they inhale it.
Stygian Karathigan
The Stygian Karathigan are the longest Prime Karathigan, averaging around 70-90 feet from head to tail tip, but they are the shortest Karathigan, averaging around 20 feet from ground to head. Stygian Karathigan are purple and black. Instead of horns, the Stygian Karathigan has bony plates on their heads.
Stygian Breath
The Stygian Karathigan exhales a stream of necrotic energy, wilting plantlife or decomposing organic life.
Tidal Karathigan
The Tidal Karathigan do not look like regular Karathigan. This is because they have no wings, instead having a thin membraine that runs from their elbows to their legs. Tidal Karathigans are deep blue, light blue, sky blue, black, and duotone of either shade of blue.

The Tidal Karathigan exhales a powerful stream of steam.
Genetics and Reproduction
The Karathigan Reproduction system is parasitic. The embrio is implanted via their teeth or claws. Once the embrio is injected into the host, it will grow inside, absorbing all the nutrients from the host until they burst from the host's chest. Within one week, a new Karathigan will be born.
Growth Rate & Stages
After their birth from a host, the Prime Karathigan will start to grow. Their scales are soft like tissue paper. But within a few months of growth, Prime Karathigan scales will be fully hardened.
The Prime Karathigan age like Humans do but live much longer, averaging around 10,000 human years before they die of old age.

Prime Karathigans can live in any environment but depending on their breed, it may be more precise.
Smolder Karathigan like the hot desert climates of a volcanoes, preferring to live inside them.
Static Karathigan like to live in the mountainous regions of Rakasha where there is constant storms, like the mountains in Ashkath, the Ghost Wastes.
Stygian Karathigan live in graveyards, cemeteries, and places where death or graves are located.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Prime Karathigans need to eat and drink live the other races on Rakasha, consuming three times the amount of their weight and drinking water equal to the same amount.

Prime Karathigans are a solitary race, never meeting another Karathigan in their time unless it's territorial disputes or their broods birth.
