Oleron

Oleron is the central and largest continent in Zekaron. Five hundred years ago it was an untamed land inhabited by many different tribes, when a man by the name of Oleron, leader of one of the tribes set out to conquer the others. He pushed most of the tribes out of the lands, and into the northern, less hospitable mountains. He established the Oleron Empire, and his family ruled for centuries. Recently Emperor Bram Oleron passed away without leaving an living heir. This drove the Empire into a civil war, with many of the Emperor's trusted advisors vying for the throne. Oleron is primarily ruled by Humans. Elves and Dwarves are generally treated as second rate citizens, while other humanoid creatures are overtly frowned upon. Half breeds are looked at as a blemish on the human race.
