Albushire

Albushire boasts the strongest navy in the Oleron Empire. They are able to create sturdy, but fast ships thanks to the unique trees that grow in their forest. Additionally, rumors circulate that Duke Albus struck some kind of agreement with the Nausikaans for magical weapons for these ships. Though the region has stayed quiet for most of the civil war, they have been building up a large navy which has made the other leaders wary of Dhamor Albus. The people of Albushire are far removed from the rest of the Empire. While their mines, and farms are not nearly as fruitful as other regions, they are able to survive with what they have. They are almost reclusive in comparison, wary of any outsiders and fiercly loyal to their Duke. The rest of the Empire spreads rumors about strange practices and religions that the residents of the south have adopted, but none have been witnessed by visitors.

Geography

Albushire is far removed to the south of Oleron. It has access to the tail end of the mountain range that stretches across the continent, as well as a few lonely mountains to on its western shores. It also posesses a lake and large woodland. Its plains however are rough and dry aside from those near the lake itself.

Natural Resources

Albushire primarily focuses on fish as its primary food source. It is unable to use the lake for crop irrigation due to large amounts of sulphur contained in its waters. They have established several mines within the mountains on the eastern side. The forest to the east has some of the strongest hard wood in all of Oleron.
