Sandpoint City Hall
This two-story log-built building sits on a well-maintained square of land near the town’s center. It houses the Mayor’s office and the administrative offices that manage the town, including the Bursar’s office, the City Planner’s office, the Maintenance office and the City Watch’s recruitment office.
The Bursar’s office is where you can deposit money for safekeeping and receive payment for missions issued by the Mayor. The Bursar also issues the weekly pay for City Watch members. Deposited money earns 5% interest per month deposited for individual accounts. Group accounts earn 15% interest. The clerks here are mostly elves or half-elves.
The City Planner’s office handles building permits. If you want to build a house or storefront, you need to arrange for a meeting with someone from the City Planner’s office and pay a fee with them for your permit.
The Maintenance office hands the city’s street cleaning, lawn maintenance and sewer upkeep. Occasionally, they have missions and problems that need adventurers’ assistance and they keep a board of known issues posted outside the office.
