Tail of Yunmiril

The Tail of Yunmiril is the currently appointed mentee of and assistant to the Head of Yunmiril.

Qualifications

Often a Tail will already hold a title, however, a Head might wish to see someone who has differing views than the established offices/guilds so may choose someone younger or without office as Tail. A Head might choose one of his offspring for the position, but that does not guarantee that he or she will be selected as heir.

Requirements

Must be at least 20 years old to be appointed Tail. Must be Air Yanryl.

Accoutrements & Equipment

A Tail wears a band of zhindar engraved with the word "Yunmiril" on one of the fingers of his/her right winghand. They are permitted to wear this ring even when they have completed their term as Tail. After their service as Tail, they move the ring to the left hand.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If the Head decides that the current Tail is not an appropriate fit for the position, he may remove the title from him or her in a public ceremony. The ring of office is then returned to the Head. It is very rare for this to happen.
