Syorkich

Syorkich is a small town located where the Orym River river joins the Yegoth River river. Each autumn it is used as a gathering place for the clans that raise the horned herd beasts to buy, sell and show their animals.

Defences

The town is surrounded by a palisade. Two raised platforms exist within the palisade on either side of the gate and are set at a height of about two feet (60 cm) below the height of the palisade. There are a few similar platforms at other places along the perimeter. The platforms are used as lookout posts.

Industry & Trade

Syorkich exists primarily as one of the fixed trading posts for the northern Thanyn region. They host an annual livestock festival each autumn where horned herd beasts are shown and traded. Additionally, they sell lumber to the Yesnala plains and fish to the surrounding region. They also transport meat, wool, and live animals down the Yegoth river to the city of Shazun.
