Uther Pendragon IV led the forces of Avalon to a hard-fought victory in the climactic Battle for Soteropolis, bringing an end to the War of the Ancients and defeating the Black Legion Empire. Though the battle secured peace, it came at a devastating cost. The last known dragons, once symbols of hope and power, perished in the fighting—marking the end of their era. Among them fell King Uther Pendragon IX, who died heroically alongside his dragon, leaving behind a legacy etched in both sorrow and glory. Since that day, no dragon has been seen in Northern Azure, and their absence cast a long shadow over the realms of men.
