Abraham Harker

Abraham Harker

Legacy & Bloodline Abraham Harker is a direct descendant of Keos Harker, the infamous usurper of the Dragoncloak clan. His entire family line has nurtured a deep-seated hatred for the Pendragon kings, stemming from Keos’ humiliation and failed coup after losing the clan ritual for leadership. Keos’ “exile” to Rome as a slave was a deception to avoid execution and wait for vengeance.   Abraham inherited not only this hatred but also a deeply manipulative charisma, one that allowed him to rise politically while hiding monstrous cruelty. Which included the murder of his parents in order to take control of Ephesus which was done by his wife Lilly.   Historical Role & Atrocities of Governor Abraham Harker   Abraham Harker, Governor of Ephesus and once the most powerful paladin in the realms, rose to prominence through silvered words, masterful deception, and a dark pact with Thanika, Queen of the Dragons. Publicly, he was a respected leader and ally of both the Pendragons and the Stewards of YonZora. In truth, he was a treacherous warmonger, one of the greatest villains of the War of the Ancients, and the cruelest of the Harker bloodline—descended from the infamous Keos Harker, who once attempted to seize the Dragoncloak clan by force with the aid of the Black Legion.   Abraham’s evil, cloaked in false honor, culminated in a series of atrocities that would stain the history of YonZora for centuries.   Atrocities Committed:
  • The Ephesus-Avalon Massacre:
  • Harker orchestrated the destruction of thousands of innocent citizens in both Avalon and Ephesus, staging the attacks to appear as the work of foreign enemies. The chaos sowed distrust between city-states and justified military crackdowns under his rule.
  • The Fall of Uther Pendragon IX:
  • In a decisive and brutal betrayal during the Battle for Ephesus, Abraham led an ambush that resulted in the death of King Uther Pendragon IX and his legendary golden dragon, Ynat, Lady of the Skies. This was a fatal blow to the morale of the Pendragon line and a triumph for Thanika’s cult.
  • The Royal Assassinations:
  • Abraham’s moon elf wife, Lilly, served as his silent blade. Under his orders, she assassinated Queen Miraleth Pendragon and two of the Pendragon children. Her attempt to eliminate Crown Prince Arthur failed when he narrowly escaped the blades of her assassins.
The Theft of the 100 Dragon Eggs:
  • In what is considered his greatest betrayal against the realm, Abraham stole 100 dragon eggs—artifacts of ancient lineage, including gold, silver, and even extinct breeds. Their location remains unknown to this day, and the theft has become the most sought-after mystery in dragonkind’s modern history.
Final Fate Prince Arthur Pendragon IX, burned by vengeance and crowned by necessity, confronted Abraham Harker in single combat atop the scorched fields of Tigl. The duel is legendary—fire and steel, faith against betrayal. In the end, Arthur struck the killing blow, seemingly ending the Harker line’s threat once and for all.   But death, it seems, was only a pause.   Unholy Resurrection
  • Years later, Thanika, ever cunning and vengeful, resurrected Abraham Harker as a Death Knight—a black-hearted mockery of the paladin he once was. Now a general of her armies, Abraham has returned to the realm to conquer the Soteropolis region, spreading undeath, fear, and tyranny in Thanika’s name.
His legacy is one of masks and murder, betrayal and blood. Few villains have cast a darker shadow on YonZora.
