Held deep within the Sacred halls of the Chamber of Flame on Harker Island, the Ceremony of the Calling of Embers marked a turning point in the war-torn era. Thirty Aspirants, each chosen by the subtle stirrings of dragonkind, stood in solemn formation as ancient rites were spoken by Supreme Commander Abraham Harker—a revered Supreme commander of the Order of the Phoenix. 

As the final incantation echoed through the flame-lit chamber, the impossible occurred: all thirty dragon eggs hatched—a phenomenon unseen in recorded history. The Dovahkiin and their bonded dragons, many pulled from the front lines of battle, stood witness in stunned silence as the future of their kind was reborn in fire and light. 

Joy and hope surged through the Order. 

But none suspected the terrible truth—that the man who presided over the ceremony with such honor and grace, Abraham Harker, was in truth the great betrayer, whose hidden machinations would unravel everything the Dovahkiin fought to protect. 

It was the dawn of a new flame—and the shadow it would cast would last many centuries. For this would be the last ceremony held.
