Sucker Tower
In the waters by the Arm is a large tower of sponge and coral skeletons with arms tied to it. The top of the tower extends into the air, so even on land the squirming tower is visible.
Circle taught Little Circle how to bend by extending an arm and guiding Little Circle into the appropriate shape. The Sucker Tower was created near Circle's Arm, now a cluster of islands, in their honor.
When Tanuli or other cephalopod creatures lose their arms, they grow back, but Sense remains in the severed limb. With the ability to sense and perceive objects, arms are revered and respected by Tanuli even after they've been removed. Psychological and emotional bonds between the Tanuli and their arms are so strong that if someone loses an arm, but the arm is still alive, they will want it back.
When a lost arm is encountered in the sea without an obvious owner, a Tanuli will collect the arm and take it to the Sucker Tower. Using seaweed, ribbons, or rope, they will tie the sucker to the tower and wait for someone to retrieve their arm.
With predators like the anguil on the hunt, there are often hundreds of arms that are lost or missing. These arms have built up and now the Sucker Tower is a mass of wiggling arms, often covered by Tanuli trying to get them back. Because limbs still have Sense, a Tanuli can readily identify where their arm is inside the massive tower.
