Dryads Touch

Owner

Morrigg Loudstand is the head priest of the Dryads Touch Temple. Dryads Touch is devoted to the praise and focus of the natural aspects of The Animus. Morrigg Loudstand is a Hill Dwarf druid who grew up in the woods outside of Alestead before being drawn to serve the Dryads Touch Temple. Morris is a humble man who only dresses in recycled resources. This can include clothing made of used paper, wood from broken barrels and crates, or even rags found in the gutters around town.

The Daphen

There are three lower priests/priestesses of the Daphen. They are responsible for watching over the laurel trees. The Daphen are also responsible for administering healing and restoration to wary travelers and patrons. The current Daphen's are as follows:

Daphen Moritz Meyer, a human cleric.

Daphen Razier Casserly, a half-orc cleric

Daphen Kora Weaver, a half-elf druid.

The Epimel's

These priests/priestesses are the protectors of fruit trees and sheep. Though the number of Epimel's changes often, there is always one who is considered the leader. The Hesperide is the guardian of the golden apple and the high priest of The Epimel's. The current Hesperide is Zolto Merricor. The Epimel's are responsible for offering food and comfort. They are strict vegetarians, only eating what they are able to grow at Dryads Touch sister monastery outside of town.

Hamadryad

These priests/priestesses take a vow to devote their life to a single oak tree. They care for it from seed till their death. Until the tree is a sapling, it resides within the gardens of Dryads Touch. But when it is large enough to be transplanted into the ground, the Hamadryad is required to go on a pilgrimage with their sapling until they find the right place to plant it. Once that place it found, the Hamadryad will create a home nearby so that it can always watch over the oak. It is said that when a Hamadryad dies, their oak withers with them. The same is true if the tree should be harmed.

The Meliae

The Meliae is the protector of the ash trees. They are usually responsible for administering to the public and are known to be skilled in the study of art and beauty. The current Meliae, and elven druid named Shaya Featherlight, if often covered in flowers and butterflies. She has been known to sing her way through the halls of Dryads Touch.

Appearance of Establishment

Dryads Touch is a beautiful and airy temple with walls of detailed columns and a courtyard teaming with flowers, statues and a fountain. In each corner of the courtyard grows a large tree for each of the temples groups. The Daphen are represented by a large laurel, the Epimel's by a large apple tree, the Hamadryad by an ancient oak, and the Meliae by a manna ash. There is a roof above the columns that offers a reprieve from the elements and 4 small rooms in each corner where the temple clergy can see to important matters. Any weary travelers looking for a free meal, healing services, or just a place to pray to the animas, are sure to find what they require at this stunning Temple.
