Vorion

Divine Domains

The Void is a mysterious and forbidden divine domain, a prison for the god Vorion. Its true nature remains unknown, for anyone who ventures into its depths never returns. Some say it is a place of eternal darkness, a realm where time and space unravel, while others believe it is a twisted reflection of the gods' own power. Those who dare to speak of the Void do so in hushed tones, for it is a place that consumes all who enter, leaving only silence behind.

Artifacts

It is known that from the Void, only Chaos has ever escaped. The closest beings to this realm are the Pprimordial Dragons, descendants of Chaos itself, which attacked Thalas thousands of years ago during the event of Cataclysm. These ancient creatures carry the essence of the Void within them, their existence a lingering reminder of the Cataclysm that once threatened the very fabric of reality. Their connection to the Void remains a dark mystery, with their powers and motivations often as unpredictable and dangerous as the realm from which they originated.

Holy Books & Codes

There are several small almanacs and minor books used in cults that worship Vorion, the god of void. These texts are rare and not widely spread, as they are considered sacred and accessible only to the chosen few. Each cult has its own unique texts, bearing various names, which contain secret rituals, prophecies, and teachings about Vorion’s nature and his influence on the world. These books are often carefully guarded and are sometimes written in ancient languages or encoded symbols to protect them from those not initiated into the cult’s mysteries. The names of these books vary depending on the cult's tradition, with some being called "The Records of Vorion", others named "The Ages of Cleansing" or "The Chronicle of the Shadow King", but their content typically revolves around dark teachings that predict the arrival and reign of Vorion, who will consume all in his path toward eternal emptiness.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The Void is an endless emptiness, often depicted as nothing more than a dot or a circle. This symbol represents its infinite, unfathomable nature, a vast nothingness that defies comprehension. It is a realm beyond space and time, where nothing exists except for the chaotic remnants of the imprisoned god Vorion. Its simplicity in representation only enhances the mystery and dread surrounding it, as it is a place where all things cease to be, yet its influence lingers in the fabric of reality.

Tenets of Faith

The cultist who worship the Vorion believe to a prophecy that promises the ultimate annihilation of all things. According to this prophecy, the Void will eventually consume everything—every realm, every being, and every god—until only the Void remains. The cultists believe that, in the end, when the universe is swallowed by the all-encompassing emptiness, only those who have pledged themselves to the Void will be spared.
For the faithful, this prophecy provides both a source of hope and an unshakable conviction. They view the end of all things not as a tragedy but as a necessary cleansing, a return to the primordial state of existence. By worshiping the Void, they believe they will be granted refuge in its domain, where they will transcend the suffering of life and be preserved in the endless emptiness. The Void, as their god, will not only protect them but elevate them to a higher existence, free from the limitations of mortality.
This belief fosters a sense of superiority and inevitability within the cult. While the rest of the world may fear the coming end, the worshipers of the Void are resolute. They welcome the prophecy, knowing that, when all is consumed, they will stand as the chosen few, existing forever in the domain of the Void, where no suffering, no time, and no decay can touch them.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

"When the time is ripe and the stars fade into nothingness, the Void shall rise, consuming all that is and ever was. Worlds will crumble, gods will perish, and life will be but a fleeting shadow in the face of the endless emptiness. Only those who have bowed to the Void, those who have embraced its cold truth, will remain. They shall be spared the decay of time, their souls forever safe within the all-encompassing nothingness. The Void is the beginning and the end, the eternal, the inevitable. All shall return to it, and in its embrace, all shall be made whole."| The worshipers of Void cult.
