Divine Domains

Nav is a divine domain that serves as a dark and desolate prison for souls deemed unworthy of eternal peace. It is a place of punishment, where the souls of those who have committed grave sins or have lived lives of corruption and malice are cast into eternal suffering. Unlike Luimen, which is a realm of serenity and love, Nav is a bleak and terrifying landscape, filled with endless darkness and torment. This forsaken realm is not only a prison for wayward souls but also the home of Dæmons. These dæmons are born from the corrupted souls of mortals who have either been consumed by their own evil or twisted by the chaotic energies of Nav itself. Over the millennia, these dæmons have become powerful entities, serving the dark will of the realm and the will of Eiluehimself . They are creatures of malice and destruction, existing in a realm where suffering is endless, and their very nature is shaped by the torment they endure and impose upon others. Nav is a place where the divine laws of the higher planes break down, where the souls trapped within are subjected to unending agony, and where the dæmons hold sway over all who are caught within its borders. The very essence of the domain is one of corruption and despair, offering no hope for redemption or escape. The spirits within Nav are condemned to suffer for eternity, and the dæmons that call it home are forever bound to this hellish existence, feeding off the souls trapped in its darkness.
For those who encounter this dark domain, Nav is a warning: a reminder of the consequences of evil, and the price paid for lives lived in defiance of moral and divine order.

Artifacts

Artifacts from Nav, the dark and cursed realm, can occasionally be found in the living plane, though their presence is rare and often shrouded in mystery and danger. These artifacts are not ordinary objects; they are imbued with the corrupt and twisted energies of Nav, carrying with them the taint of the demons and suffering that permeate the realm.
Many of the artifacts presented as coming directly from Nav remain shrouded in mystery. No one truly knows whether they originated from the cursed realm itself, as their appearance often seems to defy logic or explanation. These artifacts, imbued with the essence of the dark domain, are often found under suspicious circumstances or in places where the veil between the living world and Nav has grown thin. Some believe they are remnants of the lost souls and dæmons trapped within Nav, their power seeping into the mortal world through cracks in reality.

Holy Books & Codes

Book of Creation In the Book of Creation, both Luimen and Nav are portrayed as opposing forces, embodying the fundamental duality of existence. While Luimen represents light, peace, and eternal harmony, Nav stands as the antithesis, a realm of darkness, suffering, and the punishment of unworthy souls. Nav, as a divine domain, is a place where souls who have failed to achieve the eternal peace of Luimen are cast. These souls, tainted by their deeds or unworthy in the eyes of the divine, are imprisoned in Nav for all eternity. It is a realm of torment and decay, where the concept of peace is a distant memory, replaced by endless chaos and despair.

Book of Dæmonology
Similar to the books associated with Vorion, there are several ancient and obscure texts connected to Nav and Eilue. These books, however, are primarily focused on Dæmonology —the study of the dark entities and the forces that dwell within the realm of Nav. Unlike the peaceful teachings of Luimen or the creation myths, these texts delve into the dark arts and the manipulation of forbidden powers. The demonological texts are said to contain knowledge about the nature of the dæmons who inhabit Nav, including their origins, their weaknesses, and the rituals required to summon or control them. Some of these books are believed to have been written by cultists or scholars who sought to understand or harness the powers of the Dæmons for their own purposes. They often contain detailed accounts of the rites and sacrifices necessary to communicate with or even attempt to banish the dæmons.
The most infamous of these books are often regarded as cursed or dangerous, with many scholars warning against even reading them, as the knowledge they contain is said to drive the unprepared to madness or despair. There are rumors that certain powerful dæmons can influence the thoughts of those who study these texts, tempting them into making pacts with the dark forces of Nav. The pacts are called Dæmonic pacts.
These dæmonological texts are rare and scattered across various regions, some hidden in the depths of ancient libraries, others guarded by cults who still worship the dark gods. They are coveted by those who seek forbidden knowledge or power, but also feared by those who know the cost of dabbling too deeply into the darkness of Nav and Eiluem’s domain.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The symbol of Nav is often depicted in a circular form, much like that of Luimen, but with distinctive elements of steel bars or prison-like grids woven into the design. These steel bars or cage-like patterns symbolize the confinement and imprisonment of souls deemed unworthy of eternal peace. It represents the endless punishment and suffering that awaits those who fall under the dark domain of Nav. The grid motif reflects the barriers that trap these souls in an eternal state of torment, unable to escape or find redemption.
The circle itself symbolizes the never-ending cycle of torment that is Nav, a realm without hope or escape. The juxtaposition of the circular form with the cold, harsh metal imagery of imprisonment emphasizes the cruel nature of this divine domain, where the souls of the unworthy are eternally bound and their suffering is as unyielding as the iron bars that cage them.

Tenets of Faith

People believe in Eilue because they see him as the ultimate force of justice and punishment, a deity who holds accountable those who have wronged or harmed others. Eilue is known for punishing the wicked and those who commit acts of cruelty or dishonor. His followers believe that Eilue's presence ensures that justice is served, and that the immoral are punished in the afterlife, preventing them from escaping the consequences of their actions. Worshipers of Eilue view him as a protector of righteousness, maintaining order in a world where evil can often go unpunished. For them, the belief in Eilue offers a sense of security, knowing that those who cause suffering will eventually face divine retribution, either in life or in the afterlife.
