The Antiquities Session 19: Day 3 Crafting/Research Teeters Point & The oracle

The adventuring party woke up and noticed that their new friend who was the person washed up on shore wasn't in there residence of stay. They did however notice that Luther had arrived back and he seemed to have a new outlook on life about him. That morning Luther made all the party members a wonderful breakfast before they headed out to work on their crafting again.
Arnold Emit Veabraven, Tinika Cogshiner, Sir Parendor Moleva, and Heidi Roth all went back to the forges of Rhineforrel to finish their magical items or make great progress with them. While their companions forcused on crafting Leront Fènwa Norixx and Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave spent time doing some research. Leront Fènwa Norixx spent time reasearching his friend Telu. As from the night before to now Telu changed again to something that seemed out of this world. Leront Fènwa Norixx dreamt the night before that his friend bacame a tatoo on his person. When he went to look at his chest he saw the tatoo. He tried to summon Telu with no avail. However, Telu did communicate with him telapathically that he would need to get his Spear back from Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel and Chaim Rokkeshod. Leront Fènwa Norixx did learn that this shadow magic he is casting can be manipulated in various ways. He learned a few new spells that he didn't have access to previously. While Leront Fènwa Norixx was doing this Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave was spending time with spirits whithin his shamanistic ritual. Reason he wanted to focus on the spirits is Dragon spirits have been seaking him out while in Rhineforrel. He wanted to see if the naga spirit swould also come back to him. However when in the spirit world he noticed something very sinister. He noticed what appeared to be a mountain lifting from the groud. This mountain leared over what appeared to be a grung village and seemed to want to harm Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and his kind. He was able to preceive that this mountain like creature was none other then a rock elemental dragon. His vision snapped away from this and to head in a more peacful way to something more meatalic appearing. This appeared to be a silver or a steal dragon. As he was able to see a clearer version he was snapped out of his trance by the shift ending alarms. This was the sign for him and Leront Fènwa Norixx should take off and meat up with their party.
As the party regrouped after a long time researching and crafting they also ran into Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel who was holding Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave's staff and Leront Fènwa Norixx's spear. He told them they where unable to detect any magical connection between the anvil and their weapons. There still might be a connection as they did detect some stange magic on the weapons that is unlike anything found on the Continent of Renstrom. As Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel was wraping things up with the Del'Rae Death Squad another person familiar with the group basically addressed Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel and stated "You All as well". Offended the party was like we have names. Brenden Holderhek said i know that but I am busy and you all haven't told us how to address you. Then he shifted back to Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel and stated that he was given a request to gather 50 units of Cobalt and provide to Chaim Rokkeshod in the royal forge. He also stated that this is a probelem as all the Cobalt is still needing to be mined. As Gerdren Arla Rhineforrel heard this he looked back at the Del'Rae Death Squad and asked if they could help with this task. There was some hesitation however they where intererupted again by Allie Fizzpebble who was holding the Vault Orb (3) she was also looking for the party. She was curious if they found any other Cobalt residum. She was almost finished with the Vault Orb (3) and these shard will be the last peices she needs to be able to reactivate it. Leront Fènwa Norixx handed over any of the shards that he had remaining. Allie Fizzpebble was appreciative and then left to finish the Vault Orb (3). THe party then accepted the quest to take off to the mine at Teeter's Point if there was a quick way to travel to the top of the point. They where advised if they would climb it would take a longer time then they wanted to be away from Rhineforrel So they learned that the Airship was about to take off and if they wanted to board the ship to report to Captian Obsidian Bristle . When they met the Captian of the ship she was very friendly and smelled everyone in the party as they boarded her vessel. Tinika Cogshiner was so excited that she took off running and investigating how this ship operated. The rest of the aprty spent time with their own belongings and just enjoyed the ride to the point. Leront Fènwa Norixx was finally able to activate Telu and in return his companion enveloped his spear and made it disappear within the shadow. Telu said this will be the new weapon to house our pact with each other and if the time arises to need a bow i can become a bow for you. Leront Fènwa Norixx was stunned by this and ask Telu to revert back to normal.
At the top of Teeter's Point the party had to figure out a way to zippling to the peak. Obsidian Bristle shot out some grappling hooks and some flew. However the most eager was Heidi Roth who lept off the airship with out making sure the other side was secure. She started to plumt to the base of the mountain below with Luther on her sholder. She was then saved by Arnold Emit Veabraven and Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave's gargoyle Gayia.
After the party landed they found the entrance of the Teeter's Point. Outside of the entrance they heard the sounds of a baby crying. They ended up finding a baby cloud giant. When asked where its mother was she responded by she fell. The party imediatly launched into the air. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave and Arnold Emit Veabraven flew as high as they could until they coudn't find any trace of what is going on. Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave was able to see the flying city of Ovranos. After landing back down the party discovered that the mother Cloud Giant went in to the entrance of Teeter's Point to look for her baby as the child fell from her sholders and took off running.
The party was peaceful about what happened. They also ended up learning that this Cloud Giant is the Oracle of The Indigotion Mountains and that her clan lives on the peeks of the Pavian Mountains. The party also learned that the Dwarf clans that live in Rhineforrel have the rights to information the Oracle possesses. They learned quite a bit about a omen that occured. She was granted a vison from her giant god and a dwarven god.
This vision she saw chossen ones being created to help fight a great evil. When looking at the party she noticed that Nak'Zoog Mag StoneGrave appeared to be the one to weild a powerful staff or item coveted by his people. Sir Parendor Moleva appeared to be the one to weild the javillen or spear that killed a dragon. This spear is located on the shores of Isle of Birth. She also stated she saw a owlish person to weild a longbow. She saw a wolf beast weilding a great sword. All of which where aided with companions weilding the other relics. These relics will be needed to destroy the great evil coming to the world. However it is also the same thing that brought him to this world to begin with.
She also showed them a great Ancestral Cobalt Anvils and three carts of Cobalt that is only available for the King of Rhineforrel and they informed them that they have word from the king to retreive this type of ore. She then granted the party access and moved a bolder that let them fly from the top of Teeter's Point deep within the The Indigotion Mountains and to return to Rhineforrel.
