Duchy of Foridia

Foridia is a duchy ruled by Duchess Claricia Val’ianie, a kind and loving young woman who is loved by all her subjects. There are three subsequent families that are ruled by her, all are also kind-hearted men and women. Foridia is a land of knight errants, chivalry is around every corner and the sun always shines over the crystal blue lakes and hilly landscape. Foridia is known throughout the world as the greatest producer of lavish wines, most famously, Flower White Wine. In Foridia, it is an absolute must to adventure for the love of a woman, and it is almost always dangerous to do so. Foridia is a wondrous enchanted land, full of babbling brooks, lush forests and strange creatures, some good and some not so much. Fey creatures inhabit the woods and water’s edge, seeking to create harmless or harmful mischief. Foridia used to be a land ruled by a king, but in 435, the kingdom of Alamor invaded, and in a brutal decade long conflict, the war was resolved and peace was had at last. Now the Duchy of Foridia and all lands under it pay homage to the King sitting on the throne of Amrosia.
