Kingdom of Cynia
Demography and Population
The population of Cynia is anywhere from 70% to 80% humans at any given time, making it known by its neighbours as a human kingdom. The remaining 20-30% of the population is divided between halflings, dwarves, and a few small, scattered colonies of dark elves living secretly in the larger forests of the kingdom. A very small portion of the population includes half-elves and species more common to foreign lands such as tabaxi and orcs.
The current demography has the majority of citizens between the ages of 20 and 37, though the number of children outweighs the number of elderly fairly significantly, particularly in more rural areas.

Cynia has a reputation in recent generations for being a fast expanding nation, particularly during the reign of the late King Marus. It has pushed west rather quickly in the last 30 years, finally reaching The Divide mountain range just before the royal family's untimely deaths in the year 1326. Efforts to expand towards the south were also halted upon the king's mysterious demise, however exploratory vessels are still sent eastward across the seas to find new lands to colonize.
Relations with their southern neighbours are still rather strained, but no move has been made against Cynia since Princess Tabitha was set to ascend the throne and there has not yet been any indication whether or not she would wish to resume her father's expansion efforts.
