'Don't you ever fucking say that to me again okay? Otherwise we gonna have some problems!'
Tony Castelli is one of the Heralds of the Sun that were awoken to serve the
Mithratic Mysteries. He is a hot-headed
Brujah and is quite possibly the one only one within the Heralds of the Sun that is in touch with their humanity.
Session 1
As Tony awoke from his near century long torpor, he was angry, confused and very hungry. When Adelino Da Silva poured the blood from the goblet into his mouth, Tony flew into a frenzy, demanding to be set free and given the blood. The shell shocked Adelino wasn't sure how to respond, rather he waited for the Frenzy to subside before freeing Tony from his shackles. Upon coming to his senses, Tony realized he had no memory of what he was doing or how he had come to the place he found himself in.
Adelino cleared some confusion, telling Tony he was a herald of
Mithras alongside his fellow Coterie members,
Lady Catherine Montague and
Dr. Henry Banerjee. They had been put into torpor and hidden away for Mithras' plans in the 1920's. They were lost to time however during the blitz over London. They had been recently discovered by construction work.
Tony and the rest of his Coterie were provided with victims to feed upon and sate their deep hunger. Despite his hunger, Tony felt uneasy about this. He asked Adelino what was to happen to the victims afterwards, the only answer he got was they would 'clean' up the mess. When the gag of one victim fell off and the man yelled about his daughter, Tony was convinced this wasn't the right thing to do. He took the man and convinced Adelino that he would drink from him later. He whispered to the man to remain calm and that he would get him out of this situation.
Afterwards, the trio were led to an upstairs office in the warehouse, here they met
Darius Shirazi and
Mickey Wheeler. Shirazi informed the trio that the year was 2012 and the the Mithratic Mysteries were in need of the Herald's assistance. The Heralds of the Sun were tasked by Pater Thomas to collect artifacts of great import to Mithras and the cult; a seal wax, a ruby ring, an Egyptian style ceremonial dagger, a phyrgian cap and a ceramic goblet that had been used to waken the trio.
This is soon interrupted by the arrival of
Operation Antigen on the scene. Tony and the Coterie look for ways to escape before the thugs arrive in the building. It is too late however and they are spotted by Police Officers. Tony leaves the man he took behind and says that the officers should take care of him. The man, named Patrick O'Toole thanks Tony for his kindness.
The trio make their way down and all hell breaks loose. Tony unfortunately catches the brunt of the gunfire from the heavily armored swat team and his leg is severely injured. Still, the trio are able to escape through an underground tunnel. Afterwards, the Coterie decide to find shelter and they book a room in the Cross Arms Motel. On the way, Catherine brings up Tony's odd physique - which sparks rage in the Brujah who tells her to never bring that up again. Upon arrival at the Cross Arms, Tony and Catherine set forth to sun proofing the room.
