Dr. Henry Banerjee is one of the Heralds of the Sun. He was awoken by the
Mithratic Mysteries to help complete a goal set forth by
Pater Thomas. A former doctor in his mortal life, Henry has a fascination with the functions of living beings and the dead.
Session 1
Dr. Henry Banerjee awoke alongside his fellow Heralds of the Sun in the basement of a warehouse within the Docklands. Himself and his fellow coterie members were awoken by fellow Mithratic Mystery member, Adelino Da Silva. He had no memory of his past life or what bought him to being asleep for nearly a century.
Led by Adelino, Dr. Banerjee was given choice of who to feed upon. He had initially chosen one of the well dressed females, until his fellow coterie member,
Lady Catherine Montague, stopped him - claiming her for herself. He then moved on to one of the men wearing grocer overalls, attempting to comfort the scared mortal before he drank. Upon drinking, Dr. Banerjee could not help himself. A near century of hunger overtook him and he drained his vessel dry.
Dr. Banerjee was then led alongside his fellow coterie members to the second floor of the warehouse where he met
Darius Shirazi and
Mickey Wheeler. The group were informed of their recent unearthing by construction work in London, Shirazi had used his contacts within the London museum to transport the three heralds into his warehouse for awakening.
Shirazi informed the trio that the year was 2012 and the the Mithratic Mysteries were in need of the Herald's assistance. The Heralds of the Sun were tasked by Pater Thomas to collect artifacts of great import to Mithras and the cult; a seal wax, a ruby ring, an Egyptian style ceremonial dagger, a phyrgian cap and a ceramic goblet that had been used to waken the trio.
The meeting is interupted by the arrival of
Operation Antigen. As the forces swarm the warehouse, Dr. Banerjee and fellow Coterie mate,
Tony Castelli stay in the offices while Lady Catherine checks the CCTV. Upon entering the rooftop - Dr. Banerjee see two police officers in a boat on the River Thames and a squad of people in riot gear storming the warehouse.
The trio barely are able to escape via an underground tunnel. Once outside, they flag a taxi and seek for lodging within the Tower Hamlets. On the way Dr. Banerjee has a conversation with the driver, learning more about the modern world and technology. Upon arrival to their motel, the other two members of the coterie began work sun-proofing the room. Dr. Banerjee however had other plans. His blood lust not yet sated, he made his way to the motel bar and talked to a local drunk, Mr. Deccan. Eventually the two wound up in Deccan's room where Dr. Banerjee murdered him and made it look like a suicide, leaving the man in his tub. Dr. Banerjee would then retire for the day.
