Pater Thomas

'Fellow exhaled ones in the sun - I have felt it too. The rumbling within mine vitae, the echos long thought forgotten. If we have felt it, fellow faithful Cainites; then be sure those who turned their backs on our Lord have too. Let them live in fear, let them quiver and break - for we stand united. We stand awaiting for our Lord Mithras' return. For he is the Sun and his return is nigh.'
When Mithras fell in World War II, many thought his cult, the Mithratic Mysteries mysteries would die too. Devotion to the Methuselah was so strong however that the Mysteries did not falter, at first. Without a central beacon and leadership, eventually the cult's many cells fell into disarray. Corrupt Paters attempted to use the cult for their own selfish ambition, while others merely faltered without direction or Mithras' vitae. Whatever the case, eventually the cult died away - withering into a husk of it's former self. One cell however stayed strong, the cell of Edinburgh, headed by the charismatic Pater Thomas.   Nobody truly knows where Pater Thomas came from - emerged within the chaos and disorganization of the Mysteries and presenting himself as the shining leader of the order. Under his guidance the Edinburgh cell re-focused and dedicated themselves whole-heartedly to the continued worship of Mithras. Recently, Pater Thomas has been leading an exodus of London's faithful to Edinburgh, believing London was due for a coming storm. He believes and preaches that Mithras will rise once more and bring his faithful towards salvation.
