Morgan
Morgan was a soldier and was sentenced to death for a crime he didn't commit. Thanks to his knack for cracking locks and shaking tails, he was given a chance to earn his freedom and join the Rushata, a group of elite criminals working for the Imperial Military as a splinter organization. During his time, he managed to earn the nickname "Captain" for his work taking charge during difficult situations.
Eventually the Rushata was shut down with a lack of funding/usage, and the members were given their freedom. Without any practical skills or the ability to join the military again, Morgan did the only thing he could do. He became a small time thief in the city of Anun-Felrid, a city deep in the center of the Gehenian Territory.
