Banalia Engine

The Banalia Engine uses the energy and power of Infused Gems to to move a set of wheels that can be used to move more wheels. The culmination leads to an increase in the power produced and force it can generate.

Utility

The idea of finding a military usage for the designs of flywheels and cogs were always on the forefront of inventors minds. Military assistance and Noble Patrons could enable an ambitious inventor to discover new breakthroughs. Currently the output of Torque is not enough to perform much in tasks, but the process is being developed with hopes of speeding naval transport.

Manufacturing

Intense skill is required to develop the Cogs, Wheels, and other small parts needed for the construction of the Engine. Very few smiths of any sort have the talent and tools required to create such small and precise working pieces.

Access & Availability
Currently the Banalia Engine is under secret research in the Imperial Military
Complexity
The actual construction of the engine alone consists of creating several metal wheels, iron typically, and a housing unit. Gears and cogs are used internally to help increase torque and output. Housings must be made for the eventual insertion of crystal to activate the movements, these are made of Infused Metals to better accommodate the power surges.
Discovery
Nunbanalia of Trentenfaire worked alongside a fellow collogue, although he was non-arcane engineer, in attempts to harness the force and power granted by wheels and other interworking's that had been in existence for some time. The Original idea stemmed from the sight of a loom being used by an arcanist without hands who produced the most wonderful of rugs and clothes by their Arcane Control alone.
