Design

While the walls of the library are the same as the rest of the tower, it looks and feels like a maze with row after row of bookshelves that stretch almost to the ceiling.

Is accessible by a hallway from the R&D room to the north, or from the southern staircase.

Sensory & Appearance

The room reeks of the must of thousands of old tomes.

Denizens

Within the library there are always at least several skeletons frantically searching for and gathering tomes for Malice's current research projects. Behind a table by the southern wall is the 'librarian', a skeleton with tiny glasses and a disgruntled look who is insistent that every book is properly logged, used responsibly, and kept track of.

Contents & Furnishings

The entire library is filled floor to ceiling with massive bookcases. While there are thousands upon thousands of books, very few are considerably 'rare'. It is more similar to the Library of Congress than it is to the Vatican Secret Archives. However, it is still a ridiculously valuable tool, as it contains at least one copy of just about every published book that is available within the Kingdom of Everethe.

Special Properties

The entire room is enchanted by a permanent silence spell, since it is a library, after all. The silence enchantment also functions as a barrier of any noise coming from the tavern below. Additionally, just below the ceiling is a thin plane of anti-magic that extends the length of the floor and serves as protection on the outside of the towers. Because of this plane, the bookcases don't extend all the way to the ceiling, so that magic can be used to reach books on the highest shelves.
