Xorlarrin Tower
Purpose / Function
Xorlarrin Tower has served as Malice Xorlarrin's home and base of operations since its construction was completed in 3e3. It is a marvel of a wizard's tower, and contains anything that she could possibly hope for.
Entries
There are two doors into the towers: a private entry into the north tower from the contained courtyard, and a public entrance from the outside into the tavern at the base of the south tower. There are also two permanent teleportation circles, both in the north tower: one in the private entry for invited guests, and one in Malice's private quarters exclusively for herself and close, personal friends.
Hazards & Traps
Just below the third floor of each tower, there is a thin plane of anti-magic that extends out from the tower to prevent anyone from using magic to get to the third-floor windows. The plane also encases the walls of the second and third floors of the north tower, but that is more for safety precautions on the inside of the tower than it is for exterior defense.
Special Properties
On the second floor of the south tower, the library is completely encased in a zone of silence.
Architecture
Xorlarrin Tower actually consists of two towers, both surrounded by a large rectangular wall. Between the two towers is a courtyard containing a number of well-kept trees and some gardening patches. Both towers are primarily circular, with each having an additional attached side-tower that contains the staircase. These staircase towers also have large, sturdy windows at each floor after the ground floor. There are hallways that connect the two towers on the second and fourth floors, also entirely walled with windows, providing a phenomenal view of both the courtyard below, the ocean to the west, and the woods and marshes to the east. The ground floor of the south tower as well as both top floors are rectangular in shape instead of circular, and the top floors also have a large number of windows.
Tourism
The tavern at the ground floor of the south tower attracts a wide variety of both living and dead alike who wish to pretend that they weren't dead on the inside, at least for a while. The library above it also attracts it's own fair share of academics who wish to make use of the largest selection of books in the kingdom. Many more visit the tower in the hopes of meeting Malice Xorlarrin herself.
