Woodangees is a tropical archipelago nation made up of one large island and multiple smaller islands. Woodangees is divided into 7 provinces: Niccadia , Dijit , Ontagees, Tynica , Panders, Katurian, and Castonguay, and the Federal District of Rotelkon.
History
Woodangees was once multiple smaller nations, with most having joined as the seven provinces, but some, such as Sliggica and Daemona, were defeated and dissolved before they could unite, their lands being absorbed by the remaining seven.
Demography and Population
The population of Woodangees is ethnically and culturally diverse, having come from various groups of settlers to the area. Due to this diversity there are a plethora of languages spoken in Woodangees, with most citizens being expected to be proficient in at least 3 local dialects, the most important being English, the officially recognized national language. The languages of so spread out that some provinces, such as Panders, have one provincial language spoken throughout the entirety of the province, and other provinces, such as Niccadia, have multiple languages spoken throughout the province, with the residents of one town speaking an entirely different language than their nearest neighboring town.
Religion
Woodangees has limited freedom of religion, with restrictions on any group declared a cult or extremist by the state. While secularism is common amongst the population of most provinces, there are still pockets of religious people throughout the nation, such as the Woodangian Mormon Temple in Garrett's Folly and the Germanic Pagans of the Tynic Peninsula in Tynica.
