Peashen Jungle

Peashen Jungle is known as one of the many giant regions within the Hellisdalr Lands, with the capital, Kvia, sitting in the center of the jungle. Those who venture into the jungle must be brave, strong, and capable of stealth and evading threats or traps. While the land was under the rule of Jarl Ubbein Skidisson, it has since fallen out of his control from the dead coming back to life and communication falling apart.

Geography

The land is partially flat mixed with a few rolling hills deep within the jungle. The Abyss of Atichester surrounds the jungle, which can also be dubbed a massive peninsula. At least seven rivers run through the jungle, giving plenty of nutrients to the massive trees.

Localized Phenomena

A dense, thick fog hovers in the jungle, distorting vision and causing most to see only a few feet ahead of them. Those containing better eyesight are lucky to see up to seventy-five feet ahead, allowing them to alert their companions of any danger ahead. Though, this does not prevent them from hearing things that would normally send shivers down one's spine. The fog is low to the ground and rises high into the treetops, creating plenty of cover for the creeping dreadnettle to sneak in and attack its prey.

Climate

The cold temperatures that roll through the jungle keep most from entering. Who would want to slip on a frozen patch of ice hidden underneath some brush or damp leaves? Summer tends to thaw most of the cold ground and creates a new life for the creeping dreadnettle and other dangerous entities within the trees.

Fauna & Flora

Creeping Dreadnettle

A deadly plant that feeds on living prey, whether they be humanoid, animal, or another creature. This is a plant you do not want to get entangled with, else you want to wither away slowly as it drains you dry of the fluids in your body.

Warped

With the dead now walking around, some have ventured into the jungle. Or perhaps they were once humanoid and got bitten by a warped, only to die at the hands of the creeping dreadnettle.
