The Great Sea

The Great Sea is a large body of water, that surrounds most of Wold. It surrounds the entirety of Blacksail, Airgona, and Miz'gan. It meets the Frozen Sea near the Northernlands and the Forgotten Sea near Anptistu. Because of its ginormous size, large tracts of it have never been sailed. The sea is believed to be becoming harder to travel in because of Meredian's failing power, making it harder for those in Archtun and Airgona to travel to other lands. Some say that the Great Ocean was supposed to be the original home of the Mern, but it changed to Pelagious after the flooding of Middle Airgona.

History

In 5484 2E, a race was on for the Heart of the Sea, which was located in a swirling vortex somewhere within the Great Sea. Each race of Archtun went into the race to try and find the Heart before the other, thinking that if they controlled it, they would control the seas.
