General Physical Condition
Resembling an old wizard from a fantasy story, the god known as Koliak has long salt and pepper hair and beard with the physique of somebody in their golden years.

He is tall and lean with a slight slouch in his back.

His face is oval shaped with sunken eyes with a neutral expression on his face. he could easily pass of as tired or overworked. He has long salt and pepper hair and beard that is cleaned about every week.

He can do magnetism, invisibility, speed of light travel and flight, generate heat and technological destruction due to his divine status. He has a vast knowledge of spells and how to cast them and can rely on them if he losses his divinity.

He can normally be seen with a metal strip with a little flicker on top and in front of it with the coloration of the the northern lights.

He has no known artifacts or equipment associated to him. The closest he has are several notebooks that are the the closest thing he has to a spellbook. He does have a notebook specifically for his predominate spells and magic.

Personal history
Born into an Inuit tribe in the Canadian Arctic long, long before any European came to the Americas. Koliak was a local shaman that specialized in dealing with transitioning souls. He knew how to pull off fire spells, light tricks and invisibility.When and where exactly he lived is unknown, what is known is his statements that he lived in the Canadian and was a god long before Hiawathaand any viking landed in americaand does not remember any megafauna growing up. He also has met Tuniits or what would've been later dubbed as The Dorsetthough he isn't sure as to what happened to them. He also obtained knowledge of things like Glacia from gods much older than himself.
His myths describe ascribe him as the reason why we can't see spirits and ghosts, why the northern lights exist and the afterlife association with said arctic phenomena. All with varying differences in the stories told. The basis premise is that he married a woman and angered the gods in the process, cursing him to become the northern lights, never to walk the earth again while his son remains a wolf until the modern day (circa mid twentieth century) while his daughter. The exacts events have never been discussed and the nature and identity of the wife and mother is as of now unknown.
By the time of the first European settlers he became a dimensional lord on the Realm of the Northern Lights. How he came to be the lord involved taking down a monster that prevent spirits from moving on. By the 19th century, he made peace with his fellow gods.
He died by the year 2200.

He has shown that his morality and philosophical views are not based on any form of the Abrahamic religions, this is obviously due to being older than their introduction to the Americas. The morals he has shown were ones of compassion and helpfulness even towards several enemies. He claims the harshness of the arctic shaped him that way and he refuses to abandoned people in the cold ever since he obtained his godhood.

What drove him as a shaman was to guide spirits to the other side. He also shares his daughter's drive to protect the Inuit people. He also understand and agrees with her motivation to shift to protecting all of Canada.

He is affiliated with the other gods of the Inuit pantheon. He has also befriended several members of other pantheons, usually other magic oriented gods and such. An puzzling friendship (to some anyway) is a kinship to Santa Claus. How they became friends haven't been disclosed but their friendship extends to Koliak letting him do his operations on his plane.

In modern times he comes across as a man in his 60's and 70's with a wise and experienced bent. To everybody else, he has an aloof demeanor to him that makes him seem like more serious than he actually is. He also carries himself with experience.
When compared to Santa Claus, he is more stoic though he is equally as kind and warm when he wishes.

He has little gold or money and has little need for it. What he does have however is an entire plane known as the Realm of the Northern Lights. How he acquired it involved a monster of immense size being taken down single handedly. After he used to bring spirits through the river until he decided to settle down. His housing within the realm used to belong the the monster and over time was redecorated into something more desirable to Koliak and his family. Being a magic oriented man he has accumulated a vast collection of books both on magic and science amongst other things. He also obtained a number of lab equipment both scientific and magical that he dabbles with. Another part of the castle hold various artifacts that he and his family have obtained over the years.

Honorary & Occupational Titles
King. This title was something that was attributed to him by many a non Inuit. During the colonial times to around the early 20th century, many european settlers, especially the academic circles, attributed Koliak as a king mostly due to attitudes of the time along. The aliens and fantasy creatures that have encountered him mostly gave him their equivalent to king due to thinking he was one. In reality however, he was never one. During his time as a mortal shaman he ended up being a leader to his tribe and became something of a tribal elder. He also has reign over an entire Realm, which confused many of a traver of the planes to think he was a king.
He eventually appropriated the term for himself, claiming that it fits him well enough.
