What if I told you...

What if I told you that the universe is not what it seems? Yeah, I get it, most people of Vreathe follow the teachings of the Elder Gods, also known as the Rena. All of them answer to Silnos, sometimes called Cillo, who many say is either the universe itself or the God of all creation. At the center of Vreathe is Meliheal the World Tree, and it connects to other worlds across creation, and even other creations.

What if I told you that is true, but with one massive caveat? This Silnos, this god of all creation. He is no god. He is but a simple man, who sits in a great machine outside the walls of night, beyond the edge of the universe. He uses this machine to keep himself alive while he modifies the specifications of each individual aspect of the multiverse, or all the universes. He will do this, then allow the multiverse to be born, run its course, then die again. Then he will modify the values slightly, then run the multiverse all over again.

Other realities have a word for this. They call it a simulation, or a program. They say we are nothing but a program, nothing but on and off switches that the creator pulls constantly and forever. These other realities are sometimes aware of this, and do not bother interfering, accepting their fate. The vast majority of them are unaware of this secret, and most do not care. But I must wonder, how many times has this simulation run its course? How many times have we been born and died again? What is this man creating or looking for?

In order to run all creation like this and prevent creation from rebeling against its creator, Silnos has designated Tellars, a Parallel Being to maintain this secret. Tellars regularly slips between realities, silencing any who dare question god. Other parallel beings used to exist as well, but all have rebelled against their creator and have since been split into individual beings, one for each universe. It is said the Rena, the Elder Gods, are these beings.

Maybe that is the secret the dark god Tarcur is after? Why he continuously tries to destroy the Gold Race, which is said to summon Silnos and end the universe and start the cycle all over again? But mabe...

You were warned about asking these questions, Salika.

You are in violation of The Supreme Judge, and those of the universe itself.

Any further violations will result in your erasure, not just from this reality, but from all others, and from all future iterations from reality.

You will not even be a memory, and countless variations of creation will play out without ever knowing you even pondered these questions.

THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING

.....

Well, I suppose I'm done asking these questions for now...
