Queen Aria Eryka of the Elf-Kingdom of Lyonne is a young and incredibly ambitious elf, having been able to marry into the Royal Family of Cassel, and later was able to get elected as the Queen of Lyonne for the next hundred years. She is the youngest elf to rule of any nation on Vreathe by well over ten thousand years.

Eryka is known by her closest friends to have a deep-rooted hatred of humans, but nearly all humans have never had that opinion of her. One human, Brenon Vernador of Cassel, fell in love with her and broke all royal traditions by marrying an elf. With Brenon, Eryka had three children: Isabel, Renelle, and Arden. About a decade later, Cassel split into three kingdoms North, South, and West. Brenon was made king of the north. Unwilling to break the laws of Saint Nora preventing elves from ever ruling a human nation, Brenon broke his marriage between himself and Eryka, sending Eryka and their three children to Lyonne.

From there, Eryka used the connections she gained in Cassel, and was able to influence enough elves in Lyonne to be elected queen. After she became queen, she started breaking a number of treaties made between Lyonne and Cassel and established much closer relations with other elven nations across Vreathe. She started to influence her two daughters so they could be married off to other nations, strengthing relations further. From this, Isabel married into the royal family of Ordland and Renelle ran away before she was to be married. Arden, she had no use for and sent him off to the kingdom of Galleska to become a knight.

About 8 years ago, assassins murdered King Brenon and his human wife Maria. No one knows who is responsible, but Eryka immediately blamed King Eldon of South Cassel, Brenon's brother, and for years after always made a point to blame him for her former husband's death. It is said that the Elves might be responsible for a number of issues plaguing Cassel, but if Eryka is responsible for any of it, she has been incredibly thorough in covering her tracks.
