Summary
The Dohirin Coast is a group of city-states in Eastern
Laivra. Each is populated by a diverse array of people and cultures, and no group predominates throughout the region. The rulers of the city-states have become wealthy middlemen for the ore and gemstone trade coming from the
Dwarves of Dohir. The Coast's reputation for economic opportunity is outshined only by the greed and extravagance of its wealthiest denizens.
City-States
Nadur
Ruled by the Dwarf named King Tymuas from the capitol of Molkar. The Dwarves in this area shun the communalist lives of their kin in Dohir, preferring to live in luxury off the back of the slave trade.
Many Fire and Earth Genasi live in this area and are outside the influence of the Dwarf slavers. Dwarves, Mul Goliaths, and Sand Lizardfolk make up the majority of the slave population.
Nadur is mountainous and dry but is fed by the Highrun river.
Lampat
Ruled by Dragonborn in Lampat and Genasi in Tirujos.
Also contains a significant minority of Sand Lizardfolk .
A Desert in the shadow of the Dohir mountains watered by two rivers, including the Shortrun in the south.
Lampat is known for Lampatti Jelly, a rare explosive produced only there.
Brk Nf
Ruled by the ancient Dragon called Aryggis, the Insane.
Mostly populated by Aryggis' Kobold servants, but some Goblins and Genasi also call the area home.
Contains a large number of volcanoes. The coast is a haven for pirates due to the lack of naval patrols.
Lounk & Nok
Ruled by a clan of albino Goblins.
Other than a few Half-Orcs and other sailors in Port Skrat, the islands are inhabited exclusively by Goblins.
Though the islands are rocky and desolate the Goblin clan leaders have grown rich due to the choke-point created by the islands.
Jesham
Ruled by a family of Rakshasa nobles.
Humans and Dwarves are the most numerous residents, though there are many Tabaxi and Satyrs as well.
Jesham is less powerful than the city-states to the north and west, but it is known for its art.
Vishaam
Ruled by a council of merchants.
A diverse population including Humans, Half-Orcs, Satyrs, and Halflings.
The largest and most influential of the city-states.
Ruled by a family of Rakshasas, though not from the same lineage as those in Jesham.
Has a similar population to Jesham, though with notably fewer dwarves due to their distance from the Dohir mountains.
Once larger, the northern region of Rohiz has been chipped away by Vishaam over the last several decades.
Ruled by twin councils of rock and forest Gnomes.
Most residents are Gnomes, but there are small minorities of Elves, Satyrs, and Humans in the region's two cities
Senlimas is notable for being the only polity in Vrashyn ruled exclusively by Gnomes.
Ruled by an Elvish monarch.
Gnomes are the most populous race, but there Humans, Halflings, and Satyrs in addition to the Elvish rulers.
Unlike their morally uptight neighbors in Cirithas, the Elves of Ramanthas are known for their frivolity and hedonism.
Nediya
Ruled by a group of elder Dragonborn.
The region is also populated by Humans, Half-Orcs, and Lizardfolk.
Nediya is primarily populated by Dragonborn who don't wish to serve the Dragons and fled persecution in the Dragonborn Settlements. As a result, these Dragonborn are more committed to world travel and creative pursuits than bonded Dragonborn.
