Elemental

At first there was nothing but the Aether, and then, by chance, it manifested Pekin to be its keeper. Being a part of the Aether, Pekin was driven mad by the unlimited wisdom he was granted. The arcane flows through his mind, showing it and its students how to manipulate the planes of existence to their will. Though it has gone mad, Pekin has been generally benevolent, allowing any being to travel through the Aether between planes. However, those who stop at his manor are forever trapped in an endless game of riddles. To the beings of Volserd, the Elementals are the creatures that have taken on the duties required in nature. From Urth who governs the existence of Volserd, to Myrkul controlling the afterlife. Things like storms, fire, light, the moon, the sun, etc. are all influenced by the Elementals. These greater beings came to life from the Aether itself and began crafting their own planes of existence. Unlike the Fates, these beings generally don't take on physical forms unless completely necessary. They have ascended to a power that allows them to exist as an idea and force across the planes of existence. When they feel required to interfere with their planes, they do so through those deemed their Champions.
