In the Freelands of the South, King Alarion is deceived by hunters presenting fake trophies of the legendary Dragon. Upon discovering their fraud, the king punishes them by affixing the fabricated pieces of the beast to their backs and crucifying them atop the city's walls, earning himself the moniker "Blacktail."
