Dragoria's Civil War & Battle of the Lone Dragon
"In 1204 AC in Dragoria, under the reign of Dragi Berim, the city of Sorgotir claims its independence."
In 1204 AC in Dragoria, under the reign of Dragi Berim, the city of Sorgotir claims its independence. During these years, Sorgotir, under the leadership of Theris Ororo, claims the treasure of Ragul, a legendary stash of gold and magical items, located deep in the Titan Mountains. Theris refuses to surrender the items to the king and enhances the army of his city instead. King Dragi Berim declares him a traitor of Dragoria and calls upon arms to attack and retake Sorgotir. His decision caused negative reactions throughout the country, causing Theris’s power to rise significantly, as he received further support from other cities. As the royal army took back Sorgotir in 1206 AC, its people and army fled to the Titan Mountains where they kept fighting the king’s army for a few more years, causing significant problems to the core of Dragoria. Dragoria’s civil war ended in 1216 AC, with the “Battle of the Lone Dragon”. The rebel army had been isolated for many years in the mountains, its supply line had been compromised, and the usurper Theris Ororo (also known as the King of the Titan Mountain), led a final raid to the city he once ruled, where he and his army were slaughtered.
