Akra
The island of the monster Serperia. The mythical Beast lives on the island and is considered invincible. It appears every few years for a few days and then disappears again in the depths of the ocean. Locals have learned to live with the danger of the monster and protect themselves from it. An ancient tradition that started during the first arrivals and remains effective is the placement of small bone charms inside the walls of each house, offering magical protection against the beast. The landscape of the island is dry and foggy. The Grey Swamp plays an important part in that, covering a huge portion of the land. Crossing the premises set by the lord of the island is prohibited. The island is known for its hunters and brave warriors as well as the captains it produces. The people of Akra are also often called “Monsters”.
