Cult of Chaos
After the world wide spread of banning realm travel, many Necromancers attempted to break this ruling and find ways to sneak out back into the realms. Some used secret waystones, others tried inventing new portal spells. But one group in particular ventured into uncharted realms, which led them to a frightening new place.
This small band of dark magic users stumbled into a new land. A land of mayhem, destruction, madness and more. Ruled by a dark spirit that simply called itself, Archaos.
Archaos invaded the minds of the Necromancers, twisted and manipulated them into becoming puppets under it's command. The goal, was to release Archaos from his prison realm and into the web of the universe and spread chaos to all.
The brainwashed magic users returned, recruiting more to their cause and scheming to unleash their master into the lands of Violem. As they returned home, they brought back a singular item, a stone of living mayhem. The cult deemed it the eye of Archaos, all that look into it would become entranced and join their cause.
Once the cult had enough followers, they set to work over the dark times, attempting to bring the spirit into the realm of magic. These attempts came in the forms of torturing Acurans with variations of Acruan Madness - Condition; starting a war between old kingdoms of Prassan and Entello and even designing a curse of hatred which spread across Cytal. Becoming the cause of the Cytal Civil War.
Each time, the cult failed but they never stopped. They never will stop and it is said they will not stop until their master is free from it's prison once and for all.
