Captain Patriotic

Woman generally considered to be the second most powerful of the superheroes, and a present Top Hero of the State of Utah. This assessment is theoretically correct - she is most certainly second strongest, however only due to a certain misunderstanding of the nature of her individuality. Once she fully unlocks it, she'd without a doubt become the strongest superhero of the world.
She is also a rather terminal case of a fangirl towards Invincible, the only hero stronger than her... who also happened to have saved her and her family years ago, something that inspired her into following in his footsteps, with all the determination of a woman in love.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Muscular body, one that greatly contributes what she believes to be her individuality. She is extremely well-trained even without it, easily approaching the level of top female heavylifters in the country. Somehow she managed to achieve while remaining extremely feminine, especially when her rather curvaceous body-built is involved (a fact that might be influenced by her true individuality).

Special abilities

She believes her individuality to be Superpower - a powerful all-rounded physical augmentation that renders her superhumanly strong, fast and durable. She is entirely capable of tanking artillery rounds with little to no injuries from the impact. Unlike her idol, Invincible, she is almost entirely resistant to explosions as well (he is only impervious to shrapnels, not the explosions itself) in exchange for not being able to fly nor carry truly massive objects.
Her true individuality is Reality Warping. Her 'false' individuality is the result of her wishing herself subconsciously to have an individuality like her idol, although not quite as powerful as him (as deep inside, she doesn't believe herself to be quite as mighty, seeing Invincible as an untouchable ideal). For as long as she believes that her individuality is Superpower, Reality Warping remains sealed.
If she ever unlocks her own full potential, she'll develop an ability to warp reality within the range of her five senses (especially sight, but it's not limited to that), changing its state to the one she desires it to be. This would make her capable of ending every fight instantly by simply wishing the opponent in front of her to be incapacitated - not to mention ability to revert things such as on-going collapse of a skyscraper, for as long as she could see it.

Apparel & Accessories

Her outfit in a bodysuit in colours of US flag (that quite accentuates her muscular yet feminine physique). Unlike her idol, she isn't wearing a cape.

Personal history

Captain Patriotic was fifteen years old when she - and her family - was saved from a natural disaster by no one else than Invincible, who was at that time making something of a tournee throughout the country. She ended up (although it took a while to properly happen) developing a major celebrity crush on the superhero, one that never really ended.
With her individuality awakening not much later (the stress of the near-death experience certainly contributing), she decided to follow in her idol's footsteps. Not much after she became a proper hero, quickly climbing the ranks until she became the Top Hero of ther state, becoming a part of what's the superhero-equivalent of an aristocracy. Despite that, she continues to chase Invincible's shadow.
Invincible either remains entirely unaware of her feelings or consciously ignores them, in order to focus on catching Archvile and, afterwards, finding his lost son.

Intellectual Characteristics

She is competent as a tactician, though not to the point where she could be considered a mastermind material. Her one major weakness on that fact is her tendency to respond to problems by looking for a bigger hammer to smash them in the face - and if that fails, she starts looking for an even bigger hammer. She, as a result, sometimes struggles against villains with more 'unique' individualities.
She is by no means 'stupid', if anything she is 'normal' in the world of people that are often very much not normal.

Morality & Philosophy

Her desire to emulate Invincible casts shadow over her behaviour and moral choices. Captain Patriotic strives to serve her country and protects its citizens from Villains and natural disasters and accidents. That's her one and only mission, and one that she truly puts her back into it, caring little about popularity aside from the fact that she acts as an encouragement and a symbol of hope for the people of her state.

Strenghts

Extremely proficient melee combatant - she is fast, strong and extremely durable, allowing her to tank all but the strongest physical attacks easily. Her true individuality also renders her basically immune to psychic attacks (for as long as she thinks that she's mentally stronger than the attacker, she WILL be mentally stronger than the attacker) and most indirect attacks such as poison - for as long she she isn't told that she was just poisoned, her passive Reality Warp will render the food she ate not-poisonous, simply due to her subconscious belief that the food isn't poisoned (and her reality warping being permanently engaged on herself due to it faking her Superpower individuality).

Weaknesses

She lacks the depth of combat experience that allows Invincible to change his 'basic' power into an undefeatable powerhouse. As a result, she is extremely powerful but not quite as powerful as he is, especially as due to the inability to influence entire (large) objects through telekinetic fields. She thus has to get creative when - for example - dealing with a collapsing building... and as stated, she is less creative than he is. Even if she awakens her true individuality, she'll lack resistance to sneak attacks, for as long as they'll result with instantly deadly damage to her.

Religious Views

While she is keeping that private, she is a rather staunchly religious mormon. As expected from someone coming from Utah, which following its reclamation project, once again became something of a heartlands for the Church of the Latter-Day Saints.
