Lowland Collar

The Lowland Collar is a vast expanse of temperate forests, plains, and hill-valleys that make up the majority of Estaria and part of southern Prekha. The Auklan human ethnicity originates from this region.

Geography and Ecosystem

The lowland collar is wooded with tall, thickly barked trees and beds of ferns. The land is hilly with large stretches of plains that are perfect for grazing and farmsteading. The majority of the collar is also high above sea level, extending to the sheer cliff-faces that border the southern Auklan Sea.

History

The collar has always been a hub of activity for the sapient races of Vildrel. The various ruins in and around Solgrad suggest that it's been populated for many thousands of years before recorded history.
